A note on specialties
Recent personal Disney experience is helpful if you plan to specialize in Disney destinations. If your interest is cruises, all-inclusive resorts or other family travel, it isn’t required. We’ve trained advisors from many starting points.

A two-minute interest form. No resume or essays.
2. We Reach Out
We read every form personally and reply within two business days.
3. Discovery Call (30 minutes)
A relaxed video conversation. We share how PPV works, including the $40 monthly membership and how commission is paid. You ask anything you like.
4. A Few More Questions, Then Welcome
If we both feel it’s a fit, we’ll send a short follow-up questionnaire and plan your start date. If not, we’ll tell you honestly and warmly, and keep the door open.

Do I need travel experience to become a travel advisor?
No. Some of our strongest advisors came from teaching, nursing, marketing, hospitality and full-time parenting. We bring the systems, the suppliers and the training. Can I book vacations other than Disney?
Yes. Our advisors plan cruises, all-inclusive resorts, theme parks and premium family travel, with deep supplier partnerships worldwide. New advisors typically begin with foundational Disney training, then build a niche around what they love planning most.
How much can I earn as a travel agent at Practically Perfect Vacations?
Income depends on your hours, niche and consistency, with no income cap as your business grows. Commission is usually paid after clients travel, so the first year builds gradually. Many part-time advisors investing 15 to 25 hours a week build meaningful supplemental income. We review commission and realistic expectations with you before you join.
What kind of support do I get?
A six-week, self-paced onboarding program, ongoing professional education, supplier-led training, marketing templates and direct access to leadership. Our community and team calls are there whenever you want them, never a requirement. You’re never building alone.
Where do I need to live?
You must live in the United States. At this time, we’re not able to welcome advisors who live in Massachusetts. If that’s you, we’d still love to stay in touch. Share your interest and we’ll reach out as soon as that changes.
What does it cost to join?
Every Practically Perfect Advisor has a $40 monthly membership. It covers your onboarding, mentorship, booking systems and templates, supplier relationships, IATAN accreditation and marketing tools. We’re upfront about it because clear is kind. It’s how we know you’re serious, and how you know we are too.
Will you send me client leads?
Our business is primarily referral-based. Occasional leads may be shared, but building your own client base is a meaningful part of your growth, and we equip you with the marketing strategies, brand templates and support to do it well.
