I joined the Practically Perfect Vacations team for two very important reasons.
Hello!
First, because I LOVE Disney!!! I loved it when I was a kiddo and I love it now that I can take my own. It’s the most MAGICAL PLACE ON EARTH….really it IS!
Second, because Disney planning can be overwhelming!!
My goal is to share Disney FUN with other mommas who were once like me- over worked and overwhelmed with one more thing to plan and think through.
I have SO been there!
As a momma, we know that the work is in the details but that’s also where the memories are made and the trip becomes one that is so personal and special for our families.
I am so excited to take my own experiences and use them to help you create the most cost effective, time efficient, perfect for your family, vacation!
Some of the different experiences I draw from when planning trips have come from taking my own kids to Walt Disney World:
We’ve been with just one of them, with two of them, and then with all three of them, plus a teenager.
We’ve been to Disney at Christmas time and taken full advantage of all the festivities and holiday fun.
We’ve been to Disney on birthdays, celebrating in the parks with special birthday cakes delivered to the restaurants and surprise gifts delivered to the room.
We’ve been over Spring Break when the crowds are high and in the summer when the temps are hot.
I’ve even done multiple “adult Disney” trips! No kids allowed!

- Favorite destination: Walt Disney World
- Favorite resort: On the Magic Kingdom side- Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and on the Epcot side- Disney’s Yacht Club Resort
- Favorite experience: Epcot FESTIVALS!!!! Food & Wine, Festival of the Arts, and Flower and Garden are a few of my favorites!
- Favorite season to travel: Late Spring- Early Summer, but I also LOVE to experience the Christmas Festivities in early December!
Normally I don’t leave reviews but felt this was necessary. My whole family including my parents took a trip to Disney over Christmas and New Years. Crazy I know! However the AMAZING job that Whitney did and the time she took to make sure that every minute spent in Disney was magical, words can’t even begin to express how happy we are. That’s not all. On New Years my wife got VERY sick and at 8pm on New Years Eve Whitney was on the phone with Disney to get all of our stuff straightened out and moved…. who does that on New Years Eve… Whitney did. Thank you so much for helping plan a PHENOMENAL trip for us.
Whitney did a wonderful job of planning our Christmas Disney World trip! She got every dining, special event, and resort reservation that I requested. She answered all my questions, including on the day of departure. I loved the trip planner to have a hard copy of park hours, reservations, rope drop options, and suggested lightning lanes. It’s so nice to have a Disney lifeline while you’re there! We didn’t have any problems, though! Some of our favorite highlights were dining at Cinderella’s Royal Table and using the Skyliner. Can’t wait to go back!
To know me is to know I LOVE Disney. I was so excited to book a trip with my family, but it had been 15 years since I’d gone back to Disney World and I knew I needed help. After my first talk with Whitney, I was so impressed. She was so friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. We booked a somewhat last minute trip, and Whitney did such an amazing job working with my family to find the right resort to fit our needs. I had so many questions and Whitney was like the Fairy Godmother of travel agents! She was always there when I needed her from sorting out our group log ins to figuring out mobile orders and photo passes. I had a Disney bucket list going into this trip and with Whitney’s help, I was able to see and do everything on my list. My biggest wish was to dine with my little princess and my family at Cinderella’s castle, and Whitney made it happen! It truly was a practically perfect vacation.
