Located just minutes from Walt Disney World, is another great resort & theme park destination – Universal Studios Orlando!
Universal Studios is a really a whole world of its own- even at a short ride away from the mouse! Featuring multiple resort hotels at different pricing levels, there are also 3 unique parks to visit – Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and their one-of-kind water park, Volcano Bay. These parks feature a great range of thrill rides and experiences for all ages. Whether riding roller coasters all day is your ideal plan, or you prefer a relaxing day poolside while the kiddos explore the water park, there is something for everyone! And this is especially true for all of you Harry Potter fans out there- a visit to Universal Studios isn’t complete for any fan without a stop at Olivander’s in Diagon Alley and visit to Hogwarts Castle.
Packages and stand alone tickets are available now through 2021, and in exciting news, Universal has announced that Create Your Own Vacation packages are now available for 2022! These packages consist of picking the resort of your choice and adding your desired ticket type to the package as well. A few things to know:
- Anytime tickets can now be added to your package. Date based tickets will be available at a later time, and your package can then be modified to include these as needed
- Cancel for Any Reason is available to be added
- Early Park Admission is included
- Super Star Shuttle transportation to and from Orlando International Airport is available
- Bundle and Save is available with packages including 2 nights or more – with savings up to $200 based on length of stay
Other popular features like stand-alone tickets, Express Pass and Unlimited Express Pass are expected to be available at a later date. The Unlimited Express Pass in included for your length of stay when book at a Premier resort (Portofino Bay, Royal Pacific, or Hard Rock Hotel), and this is an important feature to remember when planning your trip! Also, for all you thrill seekers – the new Jurassic Park Velocicoaster is set to open on June 10th! This coaster is located in Islands of Adventure – and last week a few PPV agents were able to ride during soft testing. The reviews are in and apparently, it’s pretty amazing! Lots of inversions and upside-down time! This ride also features a single rider line, and double-sided lockers for guest to store their items while riding this attraction.
