Ever wonder what frozen things do in summer? Well, we know what they do in the Florida sun! Blizzard Beach is one of two water parks at the Walt Disney World resort. It incorporates a fun play of snow and ski making this water park tell unlikely story for a hot day in central Florida. It has been undergoing maintenance for the last few months and we were so excited to see one of the new play features that has been added.

Tike’s Peak is the perfect spot for your young ones to enjoy kid-sized thrills. Now, this area has “Frozen” spin! Whether they are experiencing the miniature slides and attractions, splashing around in front of Anna and Elsa’s igloo castle or playing with Olaf and his Snowgie pals in the warm wading pool, this area is full of “Frozen”-themed fun for everyone!

Tike’s Peak at Blizzard Beach now offers a “Frozen”-themed water play area for young ones.

In addition to fun for the young ones, Blizzard Beach offers water thrills for the more adventurous. Guests can take a chairlift journey to the top of Mount Gushmore to some of the iconic attractions at the park, including Summit Plummet, Slusher Gusher and Teamboat Springs. But, wait there’s so much more! Downhill Double Dipper, Melt-Away Bay, and a favorite for kids and tweens, Ski-Patrol Training Camp. Explore all that Blizzard Beach has to offer here.

Upgrade your Walt Disney World theme park ticket to include Blizzard Beach and more!

Looking to add a waterpark option to your Disney World vacation? Consider upgrading your park ticket to a Waterpark and Sports ticket! With the Water Park and Sports option, you can visit one theme park each day of your ticket.

Plus, you get a certain number of visits to other Walt Disney World fun based on the length of your ticket. For example, a 4-day ticket allows 4 visits and a 5-day ticket allows 5 visits. For each visit, you can choose one of the following:

  • Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park
From fast waterslides to a children’s area with pint-sized raft rides, this water park has attractions for everyone. Catch 6-foot waves or float on an inner tube down a lazy river.
  • Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park
This thrilling water park features one of the world’s tallest and fastest free-falling waterslides, as well as slides and rides for the whole family.
  • Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course – FootGolf
Played over Disney’s 9-hole golf course, FootGolf combines the excitement of golf with the fast-paced nature of soccer for a unique experience. The precision sport requires players to kick a soccer ball into a cup, in a similar fashion to regular golf, using as few attempts as possible.
  • Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course
Enjoy a 2,913 yard, par 36, 9-hole walking course with fun for everyone, from developing golfers to experienced players. Greens fees only.
  • Disney’s Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course (prior to 4PM)
Play one round of miniature golf (prior to 4:00 PM) at a fun course inspired by the Disney classic film Fantasia.
  • Disney’s Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course
Treat yourself to one round of miniature golf (prior to 4:00 PM) at either of 2 Santa Claus-themed courses.
