A Fish Extender (FE) is an unofficial guest activity where cruisers hang a pouch or organizer from that plaque. Inside, you exchange small goodies or surprises with other families on your sailing.

How It Works
- Bring (or make) a small pouch or organizer to hang outside your stateroom door.
- Join a Fish Extender group for your specific ship and sail date — usually found on Facebook or cruise forums.
- You’ll be matched with a few other cabins in your group and exchange gifts during your cruise.
- Prefer something more casual? You can “Pixie Dust” — leave surprise treats for any cabin without joining a group.
Setting Up Your Fish Extender
- Size: Keep it narrow so it doesn’t block the hallway — around 8–10 inches wide and up to 4 feet long works well.
- Pockets: Include one pocket per person in your cabin.
- Style: Personalize it with your family name or favorite Disney characters. You can make your own or order one online.
- Timing: Join a group and prepare your items before sailing so you’re ready to go once onboard.
