This week, we had the incredible opportunity to step onboard Star of the Seas for a 3-night preview sailing before it officially welcomes guests. As Royal Caribbean’s largest ship at sea, Star of the Seas is designed to wow — and it absolutely delivered.
From embarkation to entertainment, here’s everything we loved and what you can expect when you sail.

Embarkation & First Impressions
We boarded in Port Canaveral, and were immediately struck by the ship’s size and modern design. Check-in was smooth and efficient, setting the tone for an stress-free trip.
Staterooms
Our staterooms were spacious, thoughtfully laid out, and featured a full Oceanview balcony in one and a family infinite balcony in the other. The infinite balcony features an “inside seating space” with a window that opens with the push of a button, allowing that ocean breeze in when you want it, and added space inside the room when you need it. The balcony views alone were worth it in both of our staterooms!
Dining
From grab and go options, to gourmet dining, every bite impressed us. Royal Caribbean offers everything from quick snacks to elegant, multi-course meals. There is something for everyone in the family!
Activities & Entertainment
Whether you’re into high-energy thrills or prefer relaxing by the pool, Star of the Seas has it all. The evening entertainment was spectacular — think Broadway-level productions and live music in every corner. Back to the Future, and Torque were standouts for our group for sure
Why We Can’t Wait to Return
This ship is a floating city of fun, luxury, and adventure. It’s perfect for families, couples, and groups who want both relaxation and excitement.
